Dear Nikki,
We just wanted to take a moment to express our appreciation to you for the excellent job that you have been doing in training our Welsh Corgi, Cody.
When we began having a behavioral problem (over-aggressiveness) with Cody at the age of 11 months, we first talked to our veterinarian, Dr. Yasso. She recommended that we contact Tom Tackett of Tackett’s Service Dogs to see if we could get some help in dealing with the issue. You and Tom came to our home and discussed in detail the various circumstances that seemed to trigger the aggressive behavior. It was ultimately determined that the best course of action was to have Cody go to your home where you would provide more intense training and attention to correcting his behavior before it became a regular pattern. Marlene had become fearful of him and had decided that significant improvement would have to occur or we would not be able to keep Cody any longer.
When you returned Cody 4 weeks later, it was immediately apparent that substantial improvement had taken place. You have been instrumental in teaching us some of the techniques required to modify his behavior and increase his level of respect for us so that his aggressiveness can be controlled and, hopefully, be eliminated over time. Since we have seen you for about 2 sessions per week of training for the past several weeks, it is obvious that you and Cody have established a strong bond. He respects you and likes you, and enjoys coming to the training.
We are very pleased with the progress that Cody has made so far, and would definitely recommend your services to anyone who has a need for good, professional dog training.
Thank you for all your help!
Sincerely,![]()
